Vitestro’s Aletta® is described as the world’s first Autonomous Robotic Phlebotomy Device, designed to automate routine blood collection.

Using near infrared imaging, ultrasound and Doppler confirmation, the system is designed to perform the full venepuncture process autonomously. Interim results from the EU A.D.O.P.T. trial report a 95% 'first-stick' success rate, high patient acceptance, and low rates of mild adverse events.

The model allows one trained supervisor to oversee up to three devices, aiming to address staffing shortages and standardise workflows.

Would you trust a robot? Or would you rather wait to see a real human?
