Fort is positioning itself as the first wearable built specifically for strength training, moving beyond standard heart rate and calorie tracking.

Using motion sensors and a heart rate monitor, the device automatically detects exercises, counts reps, measures bar speed, and estimates proximity to failure. It also tracks sleep stages, HRV, stress, and VO2 max estimates, combining strength data with broader recovery metrics.

The broader question is whether detailed, muscle-level analytics can meaningfully improve how strength training is monitored and understood over time.
